Room Description

Primate Lodge Kibale features an exclusive camp with eight luxury safari tents, seven comfortable forest cottages and an adventurous Tree House. All rooms are privately situated within the forest, making it an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Responsible Travel

All products we use are souced locally. Cultural performances and handicraft making at the lodge are all carried out by the local community. The revenue from these performances and products are all reinvested into local communities.
Being situated in the protected area of Kibale National Park, Primate Lodge is highly committed to the conservation of nature and culture. The lodge is constructed with local materials and makes use of solar powered electricity in order to minimize the impact on the environment.
We support a local sports team and work closely with conservation organizations operating within Kibale Forest.
The lodge holds a children and youth activity program which includes educational tours, photography and other activities that empower the new generation and educates them about the history of Kibale. This way they can use this knowledge and also share it with lodge visitors during village walks.
