Responsible Travel

• We educate visitors about how they can conserve the local environment and encourage proper waste disposal by putting wastebins in every vehicle to avoid littering. We also engage in tree planting to promote reforestation in the communities we support.
• All guides, drivers, and other staff are residents of the local communities and we provide cultural tours of these communities.  Tourists have the option of purchasing local handicrafts and viewing cultural performances, the proceeds from which are put back into communtiy projects.
• We are planning to start an initiative of supporting the Batwa community in Kisoro district, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, by contributing and donating some money and items to the community and including them in our itineraries.
